Your files
Files you convert are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored only for the time needed to convert them, in a temporary folder that is not accessible from the internet. The source file and the converted audio are deleted as soon as the result has been sent to your browser. Interrupted jobs are deleted automatically within 30 minutes. We do not look at, analyse, copy, publish or share the content of your files.
No account
The service works without registration. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information.
Technical data
Like any website, our server records technical logs (IP address, date, page requested, browser type) for security and to prevent abuse. To enforce the fair-use limit, an anonymised hash of your IP address is kept for one hour. A short anonymous line (date, output format, file size, duration of the conversion) is kept for statistics; it contains neither the file name nor any personal data.
Audience measurement
We use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used – for example which pages are visited and which formats are popular. These tools may set cookies. You can block them with your browser settings or an extension without affecting the converter.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your data. Since we do not store files or accounts, there is usually nothing to delete; server logs are rotated automatically.
